Sarah Bush Lincoln is pleased to announce the addition of Physician Assistant Nicholas Watkins, PA-C, to its medical team. He will be providing care at the SBL Toledo and Casey clinics and the Effingham Walk-in Clinic.
A native of Toledo, “I look forward to serving the community that I grew up in and helping patients maximize their health,” he said. “The healthcare field is innately rewarding, but it is even more gratifying when I’m able to develop connections with my patients.”
Watkins previously worked as a physical therapy assistant at Sarah Bush Lincoln from 2010 to 2014, when he decided to go back to school. “I wanted to learn more about the various health conditions from which my patients suffered and how it impacted their outcomes and lives,” he said.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in biological science from Eastern Illinois University in 2014 and a master’s degree in Health Sciences from South College in Knoxville, TN, in 2019.
